More Than a Celebration: Building an Inclusive Workplace
We understand the importance of fostering a workplace that reflects the diversity of the communities we serve. We go beyond simple celebration; we actively cultivate an environment where LGBTQ+ staff can thrive.
That’s why, at PPPSW, we offer several voluntary, employee-led groups of individuals with common interests, backgrounds, or identities known as Employee Resource Groups, or ERGs. ERGs foster psychological safety, contribute to a more equitable and inclusive workplace, and help us live up to our organizational vision and values.

- Find Community and Support: Connect with fellow LGBTQ+ staff members who share your experiences and understand the unique challenges and triumphs of living an authentic life.

- Shape the Future of PPPSW: Be an active voice in shaping how PPPSW serves the LGBTQ+ community. The ERG provides a platform for staff to offer suggestions for improvement and advocate for initiatives that ensure a welcoming and inclusive environment for all patients.
Championing LGBTQ+ Rights Through Quality Care
PPPSW is also a leader in providing compassionate and inclusive gender-affirming health care services. We offer:
- Gender-Affirming Hormone Therapy (GAHT): Our dedicated health care providers offer GAHT consultations, continued care, and guidance on self-injection. We’re committed to making this vital care accessible to all transgender, non-binary, and gender-expansive patients.
- Supportive and Compassionate Care: We recognize the importance of holistic health care for transgender and non-binary individuals. Our staff provides comprehensive support services to help patients navigate their journeys.
- Letters and Referrals: PPPSW can provide patients with letters of support for legal name and gender marker changes and referrals for additional gender-affirming services.
Beyond Health Care: Building a More Inclusive Future
Our commitment to equity extends beyond the walls of our health centers. We’ve implemented a new health records system that allows patients to use their chosen names throughout their PPPSW health center visit. This important step reflects our dedication to respecting patients’ identities from the very beginning of their visit.

Not affiliated with PPPSW, this organization compiles the information shared voluntarily by everyday people who make up part of the LGBTQ+ community, and put together various reports and articles about how our community is affected by different things. Many of these studies are used as evidence in court to back legal protections and debunk bogus claims that attempt to back anti-trans legislation.
